The first game of the season went very much the way of the tail end of last season.
Old Bones looked the more likely to win this game and played with much more willingness and endeavour. Old Wanderers will just want to forget this totally!!

Although improving on the previous performance this was another performance to forget. After going 2 up with goals from Ian McCulloch and Geoff Parker, Wanderers decided to hit the self destruct button to concede 5. Serious considerations need to be taken over the defending of corners and the commitment of midfield to assist their team mates defend.
